4:00 PM - December 13 - Office of State Congresswomen Flora Savers. Congresswoman Flora Savers
All participants have signed on to the conference call. The representative for each group express their particular concerns about mercury in the environment of Ramford County and the State. They are all pleased that Flora will work on the plan and introduce the Bill.

There is discussion concerning how to present evidence in the best possible way at the hearing to insure the development of an effective mercury pollution reduction plan. Marion Quick-Silver is worried that the non-scientists in CREATE might not present the technical information in the strongest light. H.G. Hermes expresses concern that all the economic impacts be mentioned and considered in the plan. George Sweetwater and Gill Netter recount their satisfaction with the environmental consulting firms that handled the PCB informational debates in the last election. The group agrees that the companies that presented information "for" and "against" the dredging of the Ramford River were both well prepared, thorough, and organized.

A consensus is reached to engage the services of one of the consulting companies that participated in the PCB debates to present information on mercury contamination in general with particular emphasis on Ramford County. George Sweetwater volunteers to contact the environmental firm.
