Marion has called the meeting of the CREATE board to discuss Mr. Nuthen’s announcement about the hearing concerning the mercury pollution reduction plan for the State. CREATE was started in 1994 to support and help members of the Ramford Enviro-artists co-operative who were sickened and forced to relocate when it was discovered that their living and studio space was heavily contaminated with mercury from the industry that occupied the space prior to its renovation.

The CREATE board decides that the organization should participate in the hearing to insure that this source of mercury contamination is discussed. Ms. Quick-Silver volunteers to organize CREATE’s input.
