Lab TeamLaboratory Investigation Team -
Investigates questions concerning the Effects of Exposure to PCBs.

Guiding Questions

1. What are PCBs? What are the sources? What are the uses?

2. Where are the high concentrations of PCBs found in the Ramford River? Are there changes in concentrations with time?

3. Is there evidence to support a threat to human health from PCBs?

4. Is there evidence to support a threat to wildlife (animal and plant) from PCB’s?

5. What are the primary routes of exposure (i.e. in utero, breast milk, respiration, ingestion) to humans and wild life?

6. How much exposure will result in harm to humans and wildlife?

Each team will be responsible for:

A. Preparing written answers to the guiding questions listed above;

B. One team member will synthesize the information into the three minute argument that will support your consulting company’s position in the debate (emphasis on questions 3-6);

C. One team member will synthesize the information into the two minute rebuttal that will support your consulting company’s position in the debate.
