Case
2 - Pitchblende Estate
Mr.
Castelio envisioned turning the manor house of
the estate in to a high-tech corporate
conference center and renovating the homes in
Pitchville - expanding the town to become a
community which would include low, mid, and
high income properties. The project would be
developed using RRRDC's ecologically
sustainable plan.
As part of the development plan, the manor
house, homes in Pitchville, and the water from
the well supplying the entire estate were
tested for Radon. Mr. Castelio was very
dismayed when he found out that the manor
house and six out of the 20 homes in
Pitchville have radon levels that exceed the
standard set by the Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA); he was further upset to learn
that the well water also exceeds the EPA
standards.
Donald Trumpet is very interested in backing
RRRDC because of Carlos' innovative ecological
approach to development. Carlos called your
environmental consulting company because of
its reputation and impeccable record.
