Mr.
Carlos Castelio, the president of the
Ramford Real-estate Reclamation and
Development Corporation (RRRDC), has
been working on the "deal of a
lifetime" for the last six
months. His company has been offered
an exclusive contract to develop the
850 acre Pitchblende estate in the
scenic Ramafoe Hills section of
Ramford County.
The
Pitchblendes were a
"founding" family in Ramford
County who accumulated their fortune
from the silk weaving factories in
Ramford City powered by the famous
Great Falls of Ramford River. Xavier
Ray-Pitchblende III and his wife Gamma
lived in the manor house until their
death earlier in the year - they died
within 2 months of each other, both
suffering from lung cancer. Xavier and
Gamma were notorious in Ramford during
the 1950 - 60'ies for their lavish
lifestyle and luxurious parties;
however they became more and more
reclusive during the 1970'ies. By 1982
they dismissed all support staff and
closed up the 20 houses in Pitchville,
where the staff and their families
lived rent free. Xavier was the last
living Pitchblende, allowing the
estate to become available for
development.
