Your president has signed the U.S. College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment.
Your class will take the role of a Campus Climate Solutions Committee.
Your task is to develop a realistic and comprehensive plan to make your campus climate neutral as soon as possible folloing the guidelines and the timetable in the USCUPCC.
Your class will
- Develop a proposal to convince the president that your implementation plan is feasible.
The presentation must include:
- the information that will be included in written proposJune 27, 2008 8:59 PMmmendations to reduce campus heat-trapping gasses for inclusion in the proposal and presentation to your president
- also include some type of professional presentation tool or at least describe it if one were available (transparencies, slides, photographs, handouts or an on-screen presentation such as PowerPoint.)
After all subcommittees have reported, the Campus Climate Solutions Committee (your class) will draft the proposal and the 30 minute presentation for your president.
