Civic Improvements

Ramford began to augment and improve its transportation infrastructure with the dawn of the new Millennium in January of 2000, but the 2012 Olympics will necessitate a whole new series of civic improvements to handle the influx of people. At the same time, these Winter Games will help cover much of the costs involved. The kinds of projects that will be necessary include: 

* Major expansions of the Ramford Area Transit System (RATransit commuter rail system), including spurs from downtown throughout Ramford County. This project will help reduce the traffic on the area’s roads by adding a new, viable form of mass transit. 

Ramford Metro

Ramford Bridges
* Construction and renovation of bridges servicing downtown traffic. Improvement of roads, including expansion of existing highways and construction of new roads, to relieve the pressure from currently crowded thoroughfares. 
* Expansion of E. Horner International Airport, which is already a world-class facility and a major hub for TransWorldCon Air.
