Louise
Curie, a researcher at Ramford
University School of Medicine,
purchased a home in Ramford County's
town of Ramrock in a small subdivision
"Ramavalley Estates" in 1984
and thoroughly enjoyed the years that
she lived there. She loved the house,
built in 1950, with its tree filled
yard; the large almost
"finished" basement was
perfect for her children to play in.
She knew all her neighbors very well -
there are only 15 houses in Ramavalley
and the newest family arrived in 1988.
The town of Ramrock was incorporated
in 1894 and named for a large rock -
36' long, 45' wide, and 26' high
deposited by a glacier at the end of
the last ice age.
