P.R.O.F.I.T.'s
mission is to promote the growth and development of Industry and
Technology in Ramford County through the sharing of experiences, internal and external collaborations, and disseminating
business development opportunities and information.
We are a non-profit organization representing companies,
special interest groups and individuals. Our membership is drawn
from:
 Software design, development, production, and distribution
Manufacturing
IT Consulting
System Integration
Automotive manufacturers
Utilities
Telecommunications
Multimedia and New Media
Chemicals
Computer Manufacturing and Distribution
Toy Distribution
IT Education
Plus special interest groups in Finance, Law, Accounting, and Government
P.R.O.F.I.T.S.'s key role is to facilitate business,
and advocacy for its members through:
Building and maintaining an active, representative industry
association,
Facilitating opportunities to associate and develop strategic relationships with
colleagues locally, nationally, and internationally, and hosting formal and informal conferences, seminars, partnering, and social events that help to keep all members current and "in the
know",
A commitment to developing relevant training and education programs for members, and to working with academic institutions to ensure there is an appropriate educational focus to support industry requirements.
P.R.O.F.I.T. CEOs are surprisingly young for their success
(41 years, on average). And they're still mainly male: four women appear on
our roster. They're well-educated, on the whole: 26 have post-graduate degrees
(including two MSET graduates of Ramford College).74 have Bachelors
Degrees. 4 have high-school education or less. And they're demons for self-improvement: they find time outside their 61-hour work weeks for regular physical exercise (82), networking events (65) and educational seminars (52).
